From July 21st through July 24th, 2022, San Diego Comic-Con commenced. You are probably wondering why we are speaking about San Diego even though we live in Florida. Well, at this Comic-Con, Disney and Marvel made an announcement about the future movies and shows that we can expect to see in the future in the theaters and on Disney+.
As Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, also referred to as the Infinity Saga, comes to an end, Marvel announced the beginning of the following 2 phases in the MCU. Phases 5 and 6 have so much to offer Marvel fans. We have the entire list of shows and movies from Marvel’s announcement during San Diego Comic-Con.
First, let us cover the final installments that will wrap up what is known as Marvel’s Phase 4. Starting August 10th, Marvel fans will be able to view the beginning of the new short series ‘I am Groot’ on Disney+. The next Marvel series to debut is ‘Orville New Horizons’ coming out on August 17th, which will be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu. Following suit is the new series ‘She-Hulk Attorney at Law’ debuting August 17th on Disney+. The last of Marvel’s Phase 4 is ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,’ which is to debut on November 11th this year in theaters.
The next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Phase 5. Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, led the conversation at San Diego Comic-Con, revealing what’s next for the MCU. So here is what you can expect from Marvel’s Phases 5 and 6.
This is the first film to start the installment of Phase 5 to the MCU. Fans can expect to enjoy an adventure with Ant-Man and Wasp as they explore more of the quantum realm.
This is a series starring Nick Fury played by non-other than Samuel L. Jackson and a few other well-known MCU characters including Talos, Maria Hill, and James Rhodes. This series will bring the Skrull population, which was introduced in the Captain Marvel film, into perspective and make you question who is human.
Fans can expect his film to be an adventurous experience where we will learn more about Rocket Raccoon’s life story.
This series is about the character Maya Lopez and will be picking up where the hit series ‘Hawkeye’ left off.
Marvel has not commented much about what this new season of Loki will hold, but fans can be excited to see what this will mean for the multiverse.
Fans can anticipate for this film to star the new Ms.Marvel, Kamala Khan, and Captain Marvel.
Marvel announced that this film starts shooting this October!
This series is about ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s’ character Riri Williams.
Agatha, played by Kathryn Hahn, will return from the hit series ‘WandaVision.’
Marvel announced that this series will have 18 episodes starring Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio.
Marvel did not announce any further details about this film. However, fans can anticipate this film will pick up where ‘Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ left off.
It was announced by Marvel that it will introduce an all-new group of heroes!
This film is featuring the iconic group, the Fantastic Four. The production of this film is set to start filming next year!

Besides Marvel’s announcement of the 5th and 6th phases to the MCU, Marvel’s Kevin Fiege also introduced that the series will no longer be called The Infinity Saga but will now be referred to as The Multiverse Saga. Marvel also announced that the Morbius movie starring Jared Leto will be having a sequel called Morbius 2 Rise of Ned. Although the Morbius storyline is featuring an MCU character, it is not in the MCU but rather adjacent to it taking place in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe which also includes the Venom films.
