Just when you thought you’ve experienced all that’s possible in Tavistock’s “Live/Work/Play” Community Concept, they are giving us a lot more to get excited about!! Introducing, Sunbridge, a master-planned community, just 2 miles east of Lake Nona.

Sunbridge will span over 24,000 acres from Orange County to Osceola County and will include single-family, multi-family, and townhomes as well as 9 million square feet of planned commercial space, hotels, all while still holding 13,000 acres of Florida’s natural beauty of wetlands and conservation.

The development will bridge the gap between Lake Nona and St. Cloud offering more affordable housing while keeping residents close to the action with new infrastructure in the form of Sunbridge Parkway, which will connect to State Road 528 (The Beachline Expressway).

Lake Nona Communities

Tavistock created something special with Laureate Park—a neighborhood where community, nature, health, and technology seamlessly intersect.  The demand has been overwhelming and created a lot of fascination over what’s to come next. Sunbridge is part of that next big thing. Already selling and home to over 375 new residents is Del Webb’s active retirement community. This will be home to a 27,000 square foot state-of-the-art clubhouse that will feature health and wellness amenities, a tavern, pickleball courts, dog parks, a tech center, and more. Weslyn Park finally opened to the public and will be home to builders David Weekley Homes, Craft Homes, Toll Brothers, Ashton Woods, and Pulte. These are just the first two of six planned neighborhoods for the Sunbridge Development, the centerpiece of which will be a 47-acre man-made lake flanked by housing, retail and commercial space.

Sunbridge

Sunbridge is projecting to be a much larger scale of Laureate Park with additional features all while encompassing the natural landscape of Florida. This new community has something for everyone and hopes to tap into each buyers’ specific needs.  Some highlights include Craft Homes offering 10 Tesla solar panels standard in the purchase, David Weekley Homes offering larger lots up to 70 feet, and the community being equipped with internet speeds of up to 10Gbps of service which is a great added benefit as we find more people working from home.

Final Thoughts

Fun fact: the trees used to clear the land for Sunbridge are either transplanted or sent back to the same mills that are used in the fabrication of the homes in the neighborhood.

Another fun fact: The soil excavated to form the basin of the Marina will be reused in the grading of the community when building the homes.
